The Miracle League of Wilmington is an accessible baseball league filled with joy, dancing and home runs for children and adults living with disabilities; Ages 3+. Currently, the Miracle League of Wilmington serves over 150+ All Stars through three types of teams: Tee Ball, Classic, and Competitive.

The Camp Schreiber Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to positively impacting our community. We provide educational services and out-of-classroom experiences to deserving young men in Wilmington, North Carolina. We have a depth of commitment to the young men selected to participate and we invest in our students, their families, and their education.

Ocean Cure is a 501c3 non-profit organization based out of Carolina Beach, NC. Our heart is to improve the quality of life for people with challenges and disabilities through surfing.

Helping child survivors heal from physical and sexual abuse in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender Counties in North Carolina.

In 2013, Masonboro.org developed the Masonboro Island Explorer (ILX) Program. ILX was created to provide all 5th grade students enrolled in New Hanover County Public Schools with the opportunity to explore and understand the diverse ecosystems of Masonboro Island and its surrounding waters, and to foster an interest in the ecology of the barrier islands. The long term goal of the program is to develop future stewards of the North Carolina coastal islands, and in doing so, cultivate a lifelong interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

The mission of DREAMS is to create a culture of confidence for youth and teens through equitable access to arts education supported by the values of respect, family, and community.

Our story began with a simple yet powerful realization – that no child should ever face the devastating consequences of hunger. Founded in 2008 we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a profound mission: To provide healthy food to hungry children, empowering them to succeed in the classroom and in their community.

The ESA is the largest amateur surfing association in the world. Our family oriented programs promote a healthy and active lifestyle. It is not uncommon to find two or three generations of the same family involved as members, still actively competing in our program. Two of the original founders of the ESA, Cecil Lear and David Reese, are still active in the association fifty years later! The Association’s activities are currently organized into 22 districts, which extend along nearly 2,000 miles of coastline stretching from Maine to the Gulf coast of Florida, Alabama and the Great Lakes. Each district’s programs are developed and operated by a dedicated group of volunteer directors and staff.
